Haus Interior, Nina Freudenberger's shop.

A great look at a small shop that successfully blends texture, pattern & repetition.

The floor seems to beckon the consumer to the back of the shop.

Symmetry and repetition.

A bale of hay within an acrylic box is a wonderful play on texture.

Kate Spade, store design-color.

Using gold as a neutral, floral carpeting gets blown up to an abstract pattern used later on the wall, which keeps it modern and fresh.

The color of the wall is echoed in the packaging, and allows the consumer to continue the store experience at home.

Lamps, vases, books and art help to turn retail into residential.

Over sized floral pattern on wall recalls the rug seen earlier.

Text over shoes, all images from Lonny Magazine.

J. Crew collection, store design.

Discreet signage, and an upper east side address, this is J.Crew Collection, a continuation of the re-branding of J. Crew.

Museum cases, and a gilded mirror, in a modern space that lets the clothing pop.

Ideas are taken directly from creative director Jenna Lyons own home.

Books, art, and rolled up sleeves add to the residential feeling.

Reclaimed hickory floors in a herringbone pattern, rugs for texture.

Color pops, kept modern, every surface is considered- such as the patina of the racks which were sprayed with salt water to darken the unlacquered brass.

Bathroom is identical to Jenna's own at home. All above from Lonny Magazine.
